Minutes of the twenty-seventh HoMBC General Meeting
Held at the Columbia Public Library on Broadway at Garth, Columbia, at 7:00 p.m.

6:30 to 7:25 p.m.: refreshments, and the starting of map talk.
7:25 p.m.: Meeting officially called to order.
Tim Graham was congratulated on his Gold Medal at the 2003 Show-Me State Games.
SMSG Party was reported on by DeAnn. Total expenditure this year was $83.56 of the alloted $200 (however, without buying soda pop, and not needing to replenish our supply of plates, cups, etc., we came in well under budget).
During DeAnn's absence (gone to Anderson, SC) the club's targets will remain with her mother Carol and will be available if needed.
New business
1. Tim Graham suggested offering a "corporate/business" membership (non-voting) to organizations which benefit from club activities. (ie. SMSG)
Old business
Maps
1. Discussed reformation of map and land owner relation committees (asking Dennis Sutter and J.R.)
2. Exec committee to set up and appoint the landowner relations committee (due to the delicate nature of the subject material they will be handling) (ie. removing red zones..... hopefully, without creating any new ones).
3. Votes taken: Gary Whitby suggested that the club purchase a current plot book for the area. So moved, seconded and approved unanimously.
8:17 p.m. - meeting officially adjourned , and some stayed to continue the great start we have on a new map (work in progress)
