Heart of Missouri Balloon Club General Meeting, June 9th, 2003

Minutes of the twenty-sixth HoMBC General Meeting
Held in the parking lot of U S Cellular on Falling Leaf at Grindstone Parkway, Columbia, at 7:00 p.m.
  1. Meeting called to order at 7:00 p.m.
  2. Scheduled flight canceled due to stronger than flyable breezes
  3. Discussed the Party for the Show-Me State Games to be held Saturday evening the 12th of July.
    1. DeAnn volunteered to do the shopping again
    2. it was decided that the budget for last year's party was more than sufficient to cover costs, and the same $200 was discussed as a proper allotment again this year........ but this year not to include soda pop. Some discussion was raised about having something other than burgers and hotdogs (nothing decided at this time).
    3. Dennis Sutter and Herb Heriford have again volunteered there grills, Dennis Gibbs is yet to be contacted to see if he will also bring his grill.
  4. Marta mentioned increasing the club's membership...... starting with the impending birth of her and David's first child due in mid-December.
  5. Meeting adjourned to Golden Corral for a group supper (with the exception of those who either went home, or went "to the boat"........... Hope they did well. (smile).
