Heart of Missouri Balloon Club General Meeting, February 10, 2003

Minutes of the twenty-fourth HoMBC General Meeting
Held at the Columbia Public Library on Broadway at Garth, Columbia, at 7:00 p.m.
  1. 6:57pm - meeting called to order
  2. January minutes passed around, motion to approve by David Drum, seconded by Marta Ferguson, approved unanimously
  3. Treasurer's report $911.08 balance, some dues paid at this meeting.
  4. Kelly Shaw has volunteered to be safety officer for any sanctioned races held on the open sanction held by Jason Jones
    - possible flight sites suggested were
    • Pleasant Hill
    • Marshal
    • Columbia
    • Kansas City
    (all of these flights to be, preferably, AM flights)
  5. Barb announced the new dates for the BFA nationals in Anderson, SC as Sat. July 26th - Friday Aug. 1 , 2003
  6. Program on observing done by Cindy and Jim Chapman
    [Secretary and Vice President really enjoyed the presentation, Thank You Chapman's]
  7. 8:55pm - meeting adjourned
