Columbia Parks and Rec

Apparently David Holmes and Gary Sines recently had a run in with a Park
Ranger at Cosmo Park regarding balloons launching from the park.  

Because I am a City of Columbia employee, I was contacted by one
balloonist who wanted me to look into the situation.  I understand that
another balloonist has called someone else at Parks & Rec.

I am asking all of you to please DO NOT make any other calls to Parks
and Rec.  I am making headway on the situation and have someone who is
balloon friendly willing to help us.  

I will work with the balloon club and parks and rec to set up a meeting
that should help clarify things. Till then, we need to tread lightly, so
please just bear with me.
