Book Launch for Marta Ferguson's Debut Collection: Mustang Sally Pays Her Debt to Wilson Pickett

Hi all,

Well, it's finally here! I have the book in hand and the launch party 
on the Artisan calendar. Please join us next Thursday (January 12) at 
7pm at Cherry Street Artisan (corner of 9th and Cherry, downtown 
Columbia) to celebrate the publication of my first published poetry 
collection *Mustang Sally Pays Her Debt to Wilson Pickett.* The 
manuscript was a finalist in the 2005 Main Street Rag Chapbook 
competition and was selected by Main Street Rag for publication. 
Regarding the party, we'll have drinks and catered snacks, followed by 
a brief reading from the collection and a book signing. For each book 
sold, $1 will go directly to the Red Cross for hurricane relief.
If you would like a formal invitation, send me your address and I'll 
drop one in the mail. Those of you on The Missouri Review mailing list 
or for whom I otherwise have addresses should be receiving one 
automatically. Please feel free to pass this invitation along to anyone 
who might be interested. The event is open to the public at part of 
Artisan's Thursday night Spoken Word schedule.
