Mark your calendars for Nov. 2.  The second annual pumpkin drop is scheduled.  Bring your old jack-o-lanterns as your baggie. The target is our lagoon.   We will meet at 2:30 at the Sutter's.  Sunset is at 4:57.  That gives us 2 1/2 hrs to pick a launch sight, fly and land before sunset.  Every one is to bring their favorite chili/soup or whatever you want to eat with everyone else's chili and soup to share after the flight back at the Sutters.  Bowls, cups and all eating utensils will be provided.  I will fix ice tea, and hot spiced apple cider. For any other type of beverage  you are on your own.  If you know of anyone that would like to join us and is not on the club email list, please invite them to join us to fly and eat.  If weather is questionable for flying, we would like to get together for eating.  Last year we had approximately 40 to 50 people there and everyone found a !

o sit or stand and eat.  So the more the merry.       

For those of you that haven't been to our house here are the directions:
                
        Starting at Columbia:
        From the 63/Rt B  intersection go approximately 7 to 8 miles north on Rt B to Academy.  Turn left on Academy         Rd(the road that takes you to the shooting range).  Go a very short distance on Academy to Nicole Dr.  Turn         right.  At the fork in the road stay left.  We are the first house on the right.

        Starting somewhere North of Hallsville and HWY 124:        
        Take 63 south to Hwy 124.  Take Hwy 124 into Hallsville.  At the 4-way stop in Hallsville turn right or south on Rt         B.  Go approximately 2 to 3 miles to Academy Rd.  Turn right.  Go a very short distance on Academy to Nicole         Dr.  Turn right.  At the fork in the road stay left.  We are the first house on the right.
