Congratulations to the winners of the 1st Annual Show-Me STATE GAMES Balloon
Competition:

Gold Medal: Tim Graham
Silver Medal: Gary Whitby
Bronze Medal: (tie) Denis Sutter

           Fred Schoening

Pilots flew a total of 6 tasks called by George Thomas (Competition
Director, Tasks 1 - 4) and Theron Riley (Competition Director, Tasks 5 - 6)
with assistance by Ken Schroeder.

Thank you to our sponsors, pilots, crews, and volunteers for making the
weekend a great success. A special "thank you" to the Heart of Missouri
Balloon Club (especially Denis & Ellen Sutter, Herb & Cheri Heriford, Tim &
Renee Graham, and Dennis Gibbs) for a wonderful party on Saturday night. And
our hats off to Mother Nature for a perfect flying weekend (moderate
temperatures, low humidity, no rain, and calm winds)!
