Come fly in Fulton !
Renee and I would like to extend an invitation to everyone to come join us
for our Annual Fulton Fun Flight this Saturday evening, June 23rd. Beautiful
scenery, manicured balloon port, enthusiastic spectators, and friendly
landowners are available at no extra charge.
Renee's folks, Maurice and Margaret Stack will provide the launch field,
located at 1960 Lumberyard Lane, just south of Fulton. Take Hwy 54 to Rt.
H (Carrington Road) exit. This is the interchange of Business 54 South.
Turn east off the Hwy H/Bus 54 exit. The road will make a sharp left north
toward Fulton. The exit for Rt. NN will be on the right. Turn on NN -
there will be a gas station on the right and the driveway to the Stacks will
be immediately on the left. (It runs between a small house and the end of a
long metal shed.) Just follow the driveway down to the house. The launch
field will be on the left. The Stack's phone number is 573/642-5806. The
Graham's cell phone number is 573/819-9365.
Our plan is to provide the grills, a variety of condiments (including Mom's
Mustard) paper plates, utensils and charcoal for a barbecue. We will have
also have a couple big bags of hotdog buns. (If you plan to bring
hamburgers, you are on your own.) We have 2 grills lined up, but a couple
more couldn't hurt. Bring dogs, brats or whatever you want to throw on the
grill. A side dish would also be appreciated.
We want to make sure we have enough supplies, so RSV's would be appreciated.
You can e-mail us at mailto:Aeronaut@prodigy.net
or call us at home at 573/445-2688.
Pilot briefing at 6:30, launch at 7:15ish.
Hope to see you there!
