Hello everyone,

Sutter's have kindly agreed to host a Heart of Missouri Balloon Club meeting
during the post-flight Pumpkin Drop festivities. Agenda items include:

1. Officer elections: bylaws specify that a nominations committee
   present a slate of candidates to the club. If you would like to
   serve on the nominations committee, please let me know. Additionally,
   if you would like to run for an office, please let me know. Herb is
   eligible to run for vice-president again and Deann is eligible to
   run for treasurer again.  Elections will be held in December.
2. VAC Family: we have sponsored needy families in past years and I
   hope that we do this again. Typically gifts need to be in by the
   first Friday in December, so to get a head start on the schedule,
   please consider buying a gift card at a local retailer and bringing
   it to the Pumpkin Drop.
3. Approving expenditures to renew the club domain names and post
   office box.

Montgolfier Gift Exchange: snap up those ballooning-related gifts,
practice your giftwrapping skills before the holidays, and get ready to
celebrate the 223rd anniversary of our favorite sport--not to mention
the no-holds-barred gift thieving.
