Holiday Social & Christmas Family
Greetings, Club Members -
I've heard of one conflict with having the holiday social on Saturday,
December 11th. Would Sunday the 12th work for most folks since we would
be done fairly early in the evening? How about Saturday, December 4th?
Just trying to find a date that allows a good turn out.
So far, the idea of trying to fly and then some kind of potluck at my
office seems to be the most popular idea. Please send me your thoughts
by the end of next week, so I can finalize plans.
By the way, if you plan to do something for our holiday family and
haven't let me know, please do so as soon as possible. Here is a recap
of the family's needs.

So far, I've heard that one family plans to do about $40 worth of
gifts, but I don't know what they are getting. Another family has said
they would do clothes for the children.
Please let me know if you plan to provide any of the gifts or household
items. If you can't find the exact children's item, a gift card will
work better than a "substitute" gift.
New items should be wrapped with the person's name on the outside and
the Family Number which is # 580. Gently-used items are also welcome,
but shouldn't be wrapped.
Please note: Tags on the gift should have the name of the child and
family number only. Please DO NOT include "From Santa" or any other
indication on where the gift came from. (The parents may want to
customize that themselves.)
I need your packages no later than Friday, December 3rd. If you have
any questions, please e-mail me at private e-mail address, or call me. My
home number is 445-2688, work number is 875-1231.
Thanks!
Renee
