YES, Monday Feb. 9 is our next club meeting. This may be the closest to ballooning one gets around here for a while unless you can find some crew that doesn't mind standing in front af an 8 horsepower fan in 20 degree snow...Actually, that sounds kinda fun doesn't it. Sort of an adult version of making snow angels. 

Back to the subject. Some of the things on our agenda will include: Bring your calanders with events you are signed up for or thinking of attending so we can see potential open weekends for club activities, Suggestions for potential charitable organizations that could use our help with balloon activities, Fulton event, Crew school pre- Show Me event and A proposed revision of the by-laws which will simplify the paying of dues. PLEASE VISIT THE WEB-SITE http://www.hombc.org/ to see a copy of the proposed changes to the by-laws. This has been provided so that discussion can be kept to a minimum. Read it over so you can  come prepared to vote yes or no. There will be copies there for your viewing pleasure.

Bring a friend that has the need for excitement to get their cold February blood flowing. If you have no friends, we understand. You will just have to settle for us. But Come Anyway! Pizza Hut on Clark/63 at 6:30 if you want to order food, 7:00 for the exciting meeting.

OH YES! In case of inclement weather requiring cancelation, do one or more of the following: Listen to KPLA 101.5 or KRES 104.7, watch KOMU or KMIZ, read your e-mail or call your state senator in Jefferson City to demand that the government do something about the weather.
