Flight/Meeting Saturday 12/6

Yes, There is a Santa Clause! And I'm certain he will bring us perfect winds and temps for the HOMBC December flight and Club meeting Saturday the 6th. That's not to say you won't have to pressurize your tanks but Santa always seems to come through somehow.

The meeting and Christmas party will be at the Vance's house Saturday after the flight. There are directions to their house on the web site. www.hombc.org is the place to look. 

If we don't fly we will be attacking the house pretty early I suspect. Long range guesses say the winds friday night are fast from the north as the front edge of a high pressure system passes by and looking out Coloradoish it appears we just may have a chance at some slower south winds by Saturday night. It is supposed to be pretty cool with a high of 43 and low of 19 so wear your long johns.

If we do fly, and the wind is coming from the south, a meeting at 63 and AC in front of Cellular would probably be appropriate. 2:00? 2:30? Watch your email or listen for your fone to ring if things change.

IF we DON'T fly, let's plan on meeting at the Vance's at 3:00 so you won't have to find it in the dark.  Is that o.k. with you Deanne? If you are bringing a gift for tha VAC family please call Renee to let her know.

I will double check on that timing and what you should bring and post it tomorrow so check it out.

Does anyone know if Barb is back from Japan yet? I understand she was spending time helping David Ross and family after the accident at Montegi. We need to keep them in our thoughts and prayers.
