Monday night Business meeting 7/14/03
Don't forget, the HOMBC will be meeting Monday night at the library. Social hour...when you can brag about your flying skills...or not! will be from 6:30 to 7:00. Business will take place then. Our major focus will be on area PZ maps. The current ones have some places that are no longer red and some that are that wern't before! David Drum has aquired the nessacary computer stuff (That is the actual technical term I think) which enables one to see all of the platts in the area and the names of the owners. He can also overlay the streets onto said map so you can locate them. Your job...should you decide to accept it...is to bring your PZ maps, marked up as your experience flying in the area has created, and inform him of any places that you know of that are balloon friendly or UN friendly. As in Green zones, yellow zones or RED zones. Being of limited brain capacity, I am not exactly certain how this works but somehow he will be able to place the information YOU supply onto this program and make it available unto you! BUT, he can't possibly do it without your help so BRING YOUR MAPS!!! See you there! Herb Disclaimer: Herb doesn't REALLY know what he is talking about.
