Due to the fact that no one got the announcement last week there were not too many folks at Mondays meeting but the ones there did some good. We discussed flying in Marshall with the KC crew and rehashed safety seminars a bit. The most progress was made in planning next months meeting.

It is scheduled for SATURDAY, April 12. Probably at Steven's Park off of broadway. The time is yet to be determined but it will be early...3:30 or 4:00 maybe. This is our first attempt at a Pilot/Crew refresher course. The PLAN is to get as many new and experienced crew folks together with as many new and experienced pilots as we can muster to get some early season hands-on practice before we get down to serious competition.

The plans on what to practice are still being put together so PLEASE send any suggestions in to the exec. board at the website. Some suggestions were...loading and unloading equipment, handling the fan, backing a trailer, tie-offs, reading a piball... If there is anything in particular that you would like to see covered let us know. I'll send out an outline of the final plan closer to flight time. Contact anyone you might know...club member or not...that may be interested in ballooning and tell them about it. It may be just the thing to kick start the season!
