VAC Update

To HOMBC -

Sorry I wasn't able to be at the meeting Monday night to give a complete
update on our VAC family Christmas Basket.

Nora (Mother) is 33 years old.
Personal item wished for was a Bath & Body Works gift
set. (Has been purchased.)

Household items needed requested:
A large skillet with lid and a 2 quart
sauce pan with lid.
(Both have been provided)

Towels.
(We have received three large, gently used,
bath sheets in excellent condition.)

Unless I get last minute donations from club
members, the club funds will be used to purchase
the following:

Cleaning supplies, paper towels, toilet paper,
deodorant, bathroom rugs, cookie sheet and baking pans, a mixer, full and
twin sheets.

Helen (13 year old girl).
Bath & Body Works items, hair barrettes and a Columbia Mall Certificate for
clothes which have been all been provided for.

Other wish list items included perfume, books (Babysitters Club series), and
Barbie.


Sandy (10 year old boy).

A Mizzou Tiger shirt, a pair of jeans, matchbox cars and garage, and a Hot
Wheels set have been provided.

Other requests included Star Wars items, Pokemon collectibles and books.


Since so many club members donated items, including a few nice items which
weren't on the wish list, HOMBC funds will pretty much go to purchasing
vouchers for food and household goods.  (VAC uses vouchers from Nowells and
Target.)

I will be delivering the boxes to the VAC Staff on Monday, December 16th.
If anyone plans to drop off additional items between now and then, please
let me know ASAP.
