Club Invited to Help Kick Off Boone County Fair

Hello everyone,

Vicki Russell has invited the Heart of Missouri Balloon Club to help kick
off the Boone County Fair on July 22nd.  Pilots are welcome to launch
from the field, charge for tethered flights, and/or glow.  Gate 2 at
the fairgrounds will know to expect balloon crews and the normal launch
field will be available.

This event will replace the Wednesday club flight, which doesn't look
like it is going to happen this week because of convective activity.

Pilots planning to participate need to send me an email RSVP including
the activity (launch, tether, glow) and crew size.  Vicki explained that
the fair is "rebuilding" and has a tight budget, but she will try to
arrange for vendor food vouchers or a similar thank-you item.  I will
report back to Vicki the total number of balloons and people to expect.
