LOGO CONTEST DEADLINE EXTENDED
Because there was only one logo entry submitted, the executive committee 
and logo contest committee decided to reopen the contest for submissions 
(the person who submitted the only entry supports this plan).  Once the 
new deadline passes, submissions will be posted on the website and a 
special email address will be used to vote.  Members who do not have 
email will be contacted by mail or phone.

Guidelines for the logo contest (including the address for mailing) are 
posted at http://www.hombc.org/logocontest.shtml

Entries must be postmarked no later than Friday, September 7, or may be 
put in a sealed envelope and handed to Renee Graham, Vicki Palmer, or a 
member of the executive committee at the September 10 meeting.

INVITE THE BALLOON ENTHUSIASTS
Several people have recently expressed an interest in becoming involved 
in ballooning activities in our area.  Since we do not have addresses or 
phone numbers for these people, please invite them to come to the meeting 
or to crew for a flight sometime if you are the one to whom they 
indicated an interest.  

OCTOBER MEETING DATE CHANGED
Because many club members will bein Albuquerque on the regular October 
meetingdate, the October meeting will be held Thursday, October 18.
