by motion and vote. Acceptance of the minutes was made by motion
   and unanimous vote.

Report was accepted by motion and unanimous vote.

4. A post office box has been secured for the club. Webster has the
   P.O. Box number.

5. Heriford spoke about the upcoming club flight. There will be two
flights on April 21st: one will involve a scavenger hunt. The pilot
will have a list of items to collect to be announced at the briefing.
The other flight will involve a Las Vegas-style PDG. The top four
scoring pilots will be in a drawing for a prize. The pilots (and crew)
can bet in $5 increments on themselves (their pilot) and, optionally,
another pilot. The winning pilot will have three shares of the pot,
everyone else will have one share.

6. Heriford also mentioned that the competition committee is still
   looking into sanctioned competition.

7. Davis mentioned two pieces of correspondence. The first was a
thank-you from Peggy Hart for the club's donation to the Ed Yost
   Historical Marker.

8. The second was Frank's resignation as Secretary. The resignation
was accepted by motion and vote.

9. Davis introduced the topic of a club logo. After much discussion
Sines made a motion to have Renee Graham and Vicki Palmer determine
contest rules. Motion was approved by unanimous vote.

10. Steve Foltz spoke about the opportunity for a first aid class and
a CPR class. The classes are 8 hours over a weekend. There is a
limit of 8 to 10 people. There would be a fee for taking the class.

11. Davis introduced the need to fill the vacant Secretary position.
After a brief discussion, David Drum was elected to the position.

12. Vicki Palmer expressed concerns about the possibility of having the
club member roster available on the web site. She and others would
prefer to keep personal information private. A motion was made and
passed to have the Secretary notify and collect privacy preferences
    from the club membership.

13. Gary Sines promoted a race in Miami in May. Sines promoted the US
    Cellular Balloon Classic in August.

Regards,

David Drum
Secretary, Heart of Missouri Balloon Club
