On the Raven policy, or opinion, of moisture being bad for fabric, I
think it is more a case of long term exposure. Particularly on urethane
coating.
I added "hot water" because most reactions are accelerated by heat, so it
was just my assumption.
I don't think that getting it wet in dyeing or other processes would be
significant.
