Re: [balloon-makers] Welcome everyone

My name is Shane Robinson and I live in Springfield, Missouri. I fly balloons
for a living-- corporate, rides, etc.

I've yet to build a balloon myself. I'd planned to go to Brian Boland's this
winter and have him direct me but family got in the way. For those of you who
don't know Brian, you are truly missing out. Maybe I can get him to
participate in this group, though it would be via his wife, Louise. Brian
dislikes computers-- he even scoffs at the use of a GPS.

I already have the burner I plan to use. Guy Gauthier of Longview, Texas
built a burner from spare Thunder and Colt parts that isn't type-certified
but is essentially a T and C.

I own several factory-built balloons-- a Thunder and Colt 140, two Cameron
120s, a Cameron 105, a Cameron Z-77 (with the Bass Pro Shops logo), and a
Thunder and Colt 77A.

I also have a Bert Padelt gas balloon. For those of you unfamiliar with
Bert's work, he is a true artist and we should get his input as well.

I wish you all the best in your endeavors and I thank Tom for starting this
forum.
